The Discover Tab Beta is here!

Gamers who access GameStop’s PC app and click on the newly added discover tab will find an all new way to explore game information bringing together articles, video, reviews, and related information based on that user’s interests. Discover Tab beta already encompasses over 1,700 games available for PC Download, over 59,000 browser based games from Kongregate.com and the latest content from Game Informer.

“Gamers want to explore new titles and experiences in refreshing, fun ways,” said David Adams, GameStop’s Vice President of Online Technology.  “ We are finding this visually driven approach to be addictive… similar to gameplay itself and we are really excited about launching this beta!”

We're really excited about where this will lead, especially with some of the upcoming Social Media integration and the kind of discussions it will generate. Gamers are both a super vocal group and they love getting as much information as possible too. The Discover tab is going to let them engage and consume in a way they never have before.

We love hearing feedback from gamers. A lot of the customer feedback we've gotten since Impulse became GameStop PC Downloads last year has gone into the new App and the Discover tab. The more feedback we get, the more we improve. The Discover tab beta is only the beginning."

During this beta period, GameStop will continue to refine search and the ability to present the most interesting related content within the discover tab, as well as pulling in even more content in future releases.

So tell us what you think! You can give us feedback on the Discover tab here

Happy gaming!
