You should be buying both of today's new releases. You really should. Both are outstanding games that bring something new to their genre while maintaining tight core gameplay and engaging stories. XCOM will take you back to a genre we haven't see much from lately, but is getting an outstanding shakeup at this very moment. Dishonored shows Arkane Studios chops to a much wider audience and places their talents front and center. If you can't afford both, ask Santa for the other. They both deserve your attention.
Dishonored is an immersive first-person action game that casts you as a supernatural assassin driven by revenge. Creatively eliminate your targets with the flexible combat system as you combine the numerous supernatural abilities, weapons and unusual gadgets at your disposal.
